About Our Virtual Showroom

Old habits die hard, but old fireplaces — well, those can be a challenge to restore. That’s why Brick + Ember Outfitters has launched a virtual showroom dedicated to helping homeowners reimagine their fireplaces and create cozy gathering spaces for their friends and families.

Brick + Ember makes fireplaces because we’ve made fires.

We can’t count the number of logs we’ve piled on kindling, tinder and yesterday’s newspaper. We can’t tell you how many times we’ve paused to admire the crackling of dry wood and the glow of growing flames. Yes, there’s a difference between building a fire and designing a fireplace. Nonetheless, these small experiences undergird our purpose: to help homeowners design and install custom fireplaces that bring their rooms — and families — together.

Fireplaces provide more than warmth. They transform rooms into readymade gathering places. Designing and installing the right fireplace means more comfortable family movie nights, more picturesque winter mornings and a more energy efficient home. The hundreds of central Indiana homeowners with whom we’ve worked can vouch for these benefits, having already experienced them firsthand.

Each project is unique, but our process remains the same.

Although we’re fireplace experts, we don’t push specific styles on homeowners. We don’t value traditional models over modern ones — or vice versa. We’re most interested in listening to our customers’ preferences and finding options that match those preferences, align with budgetary demands and combine beauty with functionality.

From preliminary sketching to material selection, we treat each project as a true collaboration between homeowners and our hearth design specialists.
